Michael has lived in the Temecula Valley since 1984 with a family that is heavily involved in the local community. His three brothers all serve in different capacities within the Valley. Bryan is a math teacher at TVHS, Roger is a fire captain at Pechanga Fire Department, and Matt is a supervisor with the Southern California Gas Company. Michael’s mother retired from the TVHS Hungry Bear after nearly 32 years of feeding the Valley’s teenagers and Michael’s father retired from Southern California Gas Company after a 35 year career.
Michael is married to his beautiful wife Kelly with whom he has three daughters. In Michael’s spare time he enjoys spending time with family, biking, coffee shops, the beach, and traveling. Believe it or not, taxes and accounting is a core passion for Michael as well.
Michael Noon began his accounting career in San Diego with one of the four largest accounting firms in the world, Deloitte Tax, LLP. Deloitte is consistently ranked as one of the top ten best companies to launch a career. Michael worked in Deloitte’s tax department serving high net worth individuals and their trusts, multi-state and foreign corporations, and large real estate developers. In 2006, Michael returned to his hometown to work with local CPA firms and became a partner with a local firm in 2016. In 2019, Michael founded the accounting firm Noon & Associates CPAs, Inc.
Michael has extensive experience in handling income tax, payroll tax, sales tax, gift tax, and property tax matters and has worked with many local, multi-state, and foreign C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, Trusts, Estates, Individuals, and Exempt Organizations (nonprofits) throughout the Inland Empire, and San Diego and Orange Counties. His primary areas of responsibility involve tax compliance, consulting, tax projections, buying and selling businesses, offers in compromise, and Internal Revenue Service and Franchise Tax Board representation for audit/exam. Dixie Minnesang worked with Mike Noon at the prior firm for the last eight years and is thankful to be part of his team as Office Manager. She brings her ‘customer-first’ attitude and attention to detail to Noon & Associates CPAs. Her background includes administrative, marketing & accounting support for a multi-unit restaurant group, a real estate development company, and her husband’s horticultural business.
Her primary responsibilities include coordinating clients’ tax returns, managing accounts receivables, and general support to the accounting staff. She is dedicated to excellent client service and facilitating the growth and success of the firm.
Having lived in Temecula for 30 years with her husband Dave, Dixie is thankful that her adult daughters and parents all live within minutes. With two grandsons under two, any day might include family time, which is her favorite pastime; others being gardening, camping, traveling, and sharing a good Cabernet with friends. Family, faith & the importance of volunteering has always steered her free time and she attributes this to her joyful spirit.
Scott was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. After high school he worked his way through junior college and eventually eared a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After college he started a construction company with his father Larry. In the late 2000s it became clear that the construction industry was no longer capable of affording Scott the opportunities that he wanted for himself and his family. In early 2011 he returned to school, studying Accounting at the University of California, San Diego. He finished the accounting program in late 2013 and immediately began his accounting career.
In his first accounting position Scott gained experience in the areas of auditing, focusing on school districts and other governmental agencies and taxation. In 2015 he joined with Mike Noon in order to further hone his taxation skills and to gain broader experience conduction audits and attest engagements with a wider range of clients and industries. By late 2015 he had passed all four sections of the CPA exam and by early 2019 he had finished all of the educational requirements and is now a licensed CPA. In his position of Senior Accountant with Noon & Associates, Scott is focused on taxation of individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profit organizations, as well as audit and attest engagements of various business entities and non-profit organizations.
Scott and his beautiful wife Lynnette became residents of Temecula in 2007 and love being a part of this amazing community. When he is not working Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two wonderful children Owen and Abigail. The Thompson’s enjoy suffering through the disappointment of being long-suffering Los Angeles Dodgers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans. They also enjoy travel and their travels usually take them to Hawaii, the awe-inspiring landscapes of the American West, or wherever the Dodgers happen to be playing. They recently purchased a travel trailer and hope that will lead to even further travels (though trips to Hawaii may be a little difficult). Scott is also a self-proclaimed retro videogame and sci-fi/fantasy nerd and is working diligently to ingrain the same nerdiness in his children; most likely to the chagrin of his wife. Finally, the Thompson’s enjoy being active members of their church and do their best to serve whenever possible.
After raising her two amazing children in Murrieta, CA, Amanda realized it was time for a new challenge. She took her love of math and finding solutions to problems and applied it to her studies at California Baptist University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She brings her focus and determination for success into her position as a Senior Accountant with Noon & Associates CPAs and is excited to keep learning in the ever-changing tax world!
She knows that nothing worthwhile comes easy and strongly believes that her carefree spirit and energy will help promote trusted relationships, both internally and with clients.
Amanda has a love for the outdoors and enjoys spending time sailing in San Diego, soaking in some leisure time at local Temecula wineries, or practicing her salsa moves on the dancefloor.
Kelly was born and raised in Canyon Lake and is a graduate of Temescal Canyon High School. She attended Azusa Pacific University and earned a Liberal Studies degree in Education. Kelly used her degree for 11 years as a substitute teacher throughout the Temecula/ Murrieta area. Eventually, Kelly realized that she had a higher calling and decided to be a stay at home mom for her three beautiful daughters: Krislyn, Addie, and Brooklyn (“Coco”).
Kelly has a heart for caregiving, hospitality, and service. Her thoughtful nature makes her a great wife, caring mother, and an amazing friend. When she is not helping team members of the firm or tending for the needs of her family (which, lets face it, does not leave her a lot of spare time), Kelly enjoys taking part in exercise classes, family bike rides, spending quality times with friends, and spending as much time as possible at the beach.
Jenny was born and raised in Imperial Beach and is a graduate of Chula Vista High School. She attended Sonoma State University for 2 years before changing gears and going to nursing school. She worked as a personal, in-home caregiver for 5 years and also worked in multiple care facilities. She was a client here before being recruited to be our Executive Assistant. She and her husband Steve have been married for 3 years and have 3 daughters and 1 son combined, ranging in age from 9 to 18. They also have 3 dogs Luna a 4-year-old boxer/bulldog, Gunner a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois and most recently Harley a 5-month-old Shepard/Rottweiler mix. All of their dogs are rescues.
Jenny has a huge heart for others and loves to be of service wherever and whenever she can. When she isn’t helping out the NAC team she can be found caring for her family and friends and helping out her home church Impact Menifee. Jenny and her husband volunteer with Camp Alandale, the foster child ministry and Jenny is looking forward to being a camp counselor soon. Jenny also enjoys the outdoors, hiking, going to the movies and sharing sushi dates with her husband.
As the Executive Assistant Jenny happily juggles all the tasks necessary to handle the front desk to the benefit of our clients and staff. When clients call or come into the office of Noon & Associates CPAs, they encounter Jenny’s welcoming demeanor, always ready to assist!
Catie was born and raised in Murrieta and graduated from Murrieta Valley High School sometime after Britney Spears hit the scene, but before the iPhone dropped. She married her best friend, Andy, who still makes her laugh, even twelve years and four kids later. Now Andy and Catie are living their best life in Montana, where there is more than enough space for her boys (Drew, Liam, Keith, and Eli) to run around, and enough property to entice family and friends from California to come visit.
Catie wears many hats—wife, mom, PTC treasurer—she truly is a renaissance woman. But between juggling her busy household and volunteering, she also works remotely doing bookkeeping for our office. She is the magical “elf” who quietly services your accounts on a monthly basis to ensure that all your records are up to date and balanced. So even though you may not see her, if your ledgers are balanced, then you know Catie’s been there. She has enjoyed her job with Noon & Associates CPAs so much that she’s also planning to add another hat in the very near future: A graduation cap! Catie is working towards her Bachelor’s Degree as she pursues a future career in Accounting.
Catie spends her free time caring for her beautiful property, hanging with her boys, hiking, kayaking and playing volleyball. (Just kidding, she doesn’t have free time.) But she does enjoy a good challenge, and she is soaking up as much as she can in this new career.
Amy Fjeldsted moved from Germany to Temecula in 1988 and graduated from TVHS. From there she moved to San Diego, lived by the beach and attended and graduated from the Design Institute of San Diego with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Interior Design degree.
Amy married her husband Eric in 2010, where they returned to Temecula so their children could experience the same small-town childhood that Amy and Eric enjoyed. Amy started and ran her own interior design business serving clients from San Diego to San Francisco while working with her Husband, Eric, to establish their Concrete Pumping Business.
Amy and Eric have two delightful daughters, Delaney and Harper, and spend most of their free time carting them to and from soccer practice and their other activities. Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, entertaining friends and family, creating DIY design projects that she starts and her husband finishes. He really loves her.
Pamela was born in New York City and grew up adventuring around the globe. After traveling for most of her life, Pamela calls the Temecula area her home with her husband and son. She completed her degree online and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and Management. Pamela’s experience gained her opportunity to work with clientele ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses in various industries. Pamela’s areas of expertise include analyzing data, budgeting costs, and providing financial reports with a keen attention to detail.
In June 2022, Pamela joined Noon & Associates CPAs as a Staff Accountant, excited and eager to take on servicing your accounts!
Pamela’s free time isn’t without many favorites. She loves to spend time with family and friends, living up her foodie dreams by tasting recommended restaurants, binging the latest show, gaming on the computer, attending the latest nerdy convention, or swimming in the pool.
Faith was born and raised in Menifee and is a graduate of Paloma Valley High School. She attended Mt. San Jacinto college for two years and got her Associates Degree in Liberal Studies. She is finishing up at Friends University with her Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration. She also played collegiate volleyball at both colleges.
Although still attending school when Noon & Associates came calling, Faith was ready to step into an accounting role.
Faith is very caring and would do anything to take care of the people in her life. When Faith isn’t working, she spends her free time with family, playing beach volleyball, or hanging out with her golden doodle puppy, Winston.
